UTILIZING LATEST TECHNOLOGIES TO MAKE MORE FROM LESS
April, 15th is a tentative date for the opening of the new remanufacturing plant in Port Alberni, B.C.
SAN FOREST PRODUCTS (division of San Group) will house the latest wood-processing equipment from the most renowned European manufacturers: Brunner Hildebrand from Germany, Golden Eye scanner from Italy, automatic stacking and sorting System TM from Denmark, 6 Weinig moulders from Germany, and 1 Waco Dominant from Sweden, to name but a few. This machinery will enable SAN FOREST PRODUCTS to process under utilized fibre that is currently left in the bush and burned.
All value-added operations, such as planning, finger-jointing, gluing, laminating, staining, veneering, moulding, and drying will be performed in the 300,000 square foot brand-new heated buildings. The drying chamber’s capacity is 3 million FBM per month. The project’s area of 30 acres is blacktopped, for the safety of our employees and elimination of dust made by vehicles.
SAN FOREST PRODUCTS will provide high quality products to demanding world markets utilizing the latest, cutting-edge technology.
