San Group is proud to announce the completion of our new Advanced Wood Value Added Manufacturing Plant. The new plant will be over 300,000 sq ft, manufacturing the World’s most premier value added lumber products which will be exported Globally and sold domestically at San Group’s San Cedar Direct stores, located across Western Canada. The new value added plant will exemplify San Group’s vertically integrated business model, from Harvest to Home, adding value to each log harvested by milling, re-manufacturing, value added product manufacturing, global export sales and direct to consumer/home owner sales.
From Harvest to Home, San Group’s mission is to add value through downstream manufacturing helping to protect Canada’s forests and primary resources, as San Group’s value-added manufacturing is sustained by our vertically integrated supply chain. The new manufacturing plant advances San’s industrial innovation and is a foundational factor in the development of an advanced bio-economy. Forest sector innovation on the Coast of BC is a driver for San’s future commercialization and marketing efforts of Canadian-Made lumber products. San Group believes in investing capital to create change, with a commitment to manufacturing Canadian timber on Canadian soil. San aims to maximize the opportunity to create one of the World’s foremost value added timber manufacturing operations.
